Isabel Vaughan-Spruce is one of the most outspoken pro-life activists working in the UK today.
She is the Director of 40 Days for Life and March for Life UK which uses volunteers and prayer to encourage women to believe that their pregnancies are important.
Last year she was arrested twice for praying outside abortion centres and has fought -successful - to challenge those arrests and the buffer zones which now operate outside some termination centres.
Where did this fervour come from? Isabel grew up in large family but admits there was no big moment of faith and always just felt 'pro-life'. However after reading an article about a woman who left her phone number at an abortion centre for any women to call if they needed help, she felt moved to do something similar and has been doing so for two decades.
On this episode of The Profile she speaks to Deputy Editor of Christianity magazine, Emma Fowle about her passionate belief that foetuses are babies, loved by God and that helping women to keep their unborn babies is pro-women.
