Post-church catchups are common, with some churches giving a space for their members to sit and chat over coffee and cake however can this be damaging to our spiritual growth? In a recent interview with Madeleine Kerzner for Sing Out Dr Oscar Guobadia shared how sometimes talking to people after you've heard a word from God can make it harder to remember what you've just heard, stating: "when we speak things happen, the bible says by the word of the lord the world was framed...the conversations that we allow in to our space can damage ourselves" to whichMadeleine added: "even on trivial levels, even like chatting after church and you're talking, talking, talking.
