UK Gospels TJ Dairo, Sarah Teibo and Salient Sound drop new tunes

Speaking about the inspiration behind the single, Dairo says, The nostalgia of the past when we would sit on plastic chairs in the church clapping and praising God in some cases with only the congas and tambourines inspired me to write additional lyrics, melody and musical instrumentation to bring a new, vibrant and deeper interpretation to the song.

Worship & justice is a popular biblical theme which singer/songwriter Sarah Teibo is extremely passionate about. The MOBO nominee recently birthed a new initiative Stronger Together  a series of conversations on Race Relations within the Christian community.  The month-long event featured the likes of Church of England priest Rev David Peterson, music A&R Manager Les Moir and American singer Leon Timbo and focused on topics such as Equality, Integration and Social Justice. Teibo is however back to her first love; worship, and recently released a four-track EP titled Victory. The title track is an upbeat techno inspired song with a soulful gospel touch and features Lou Fellingham, Zahyn and Tom Endersby. Victory is a reminder that we triumph together when we put our trust in the truth of who God is and what He declares in His many promises to us, says Teibo.

Its been about three months since Salient Sound burst onto the U.K gospel scene with their smash hit Stand. The NTCG youth worship team are back with their second single He is Alive; solidifying their position as one of UK gospels biggest new acts of 2021. The high energy praise song is reminiscent of Risen from Israel and New Breeds Covered: Alive in Asia project. Written by Salient Sound leaders Jonathan Mongi and Jermaine JC Henry, He is Alive is a reminder that we have victory through Christ because of His resurrection.

Alive Forever is TJ Dairos latest single and first release of 2021. Dairo gives the barely recognizable popular African chorus Hes Alive, an alternative soft rock twist turning it into a current day hit.
