Last Friday, the opulent Biltmore Mayfair Hotel was buzzing with excitement as it played host to The Mike Gala. This extravagant event was none other than the 30th birthday celebration of Stormzy, the 'Blinded by Your Grace' singer and Premier Gospel Awards' Outstanding Contribution Award winner for 2023.The party was a nod to Stormzy's real name, Michael Omari, and saw a glittering list of attendees from family, friends, to celebrities like Louis Theroux, Alison Hammond, Little Simz, Michael Ward, Tinie Tempah and more.In a delightful twist to the evening, the renowned choir group TabWorship graced the event as surprise guest artists. They kicked off the night on a high note with their rendition of 'Total Praise'. Their performance filled the room with an infectious energy and set a beautiful tone for the evening celebrations.Expressing their joy at being part of this special day, TabWorship took to social media. They wrote "To see the sheer joy on his face when we opened the night with Total Praise setting the celebrations right...was an absolute privilege!" The group saluted Stormzy's #BlackExcellence and his deep love for God which was evident in every aspect of the gala.
