Swanky Hilton Park Lane here we come.

So, what can gospel music lovers and artists expect from next years Premier Gospel Awards show? Definitely something bigger, better and world-class. The awards ceremony has a new home; the plush Hilton Park Lane hotel, and JLS star turned BBC Songs of Praise presenter- JB Gill, is slated to take on the hosting duties.

The fun filled night will be full of surprise performances from top gospel acts, and fans will see their favourite artists vie for the titles of Best Male, Best Female, Best Group, Best Newcomer, Best International and Choir of the Year.

2019's award show saw African Afrobeats artist Limoblaze shock gospel pundits by beating Grammy winners Tasha Cobbs and Jonathan McReynolds to take home the coveted Best International award. Speaking about the win in a recent interview, Limoblaze said: I do not look to awards for validation, but it tells me that people are paying attention to me and that my name is in the conversation. The Premier Gospel Awards was a highlight for me as I was up against some big heavy hitters.

The Premier Gospel Awards show has proven to be an important platform for artists to gain exposure to new audiences and also garner the attention of prominent industry executives.

Aside Called Out Music, one of the major success stories of 2019's show was Tab Worship. Although the group lost out to The Kingdom Choir in the "Choir of the Year" category, their stellar performance was deemed by several industry professionals as the standout performance of the night. The group has since gone from strength to strength.
