STOP doing these things to save money

This week The Humble Penny share some ways you can save money each month by cutting down on things you may not need in your life. They begin with a scripture, Proverbs 21:20:

"Precious treasure and oil are in a wise mans dwelling, but a foolish man devours it"

Ken and Mary go on to say how their advice is fun but they still want you to take a serious look at your outgoings: we simply want you to pause and think about the things you might be spending money on today and how it affects your future.

Watch this for all their tips:

The Humble Penny give three things that you could cut down on, one of which is your phone: I once met someone who didnt know phone upgrades were optionalwe recommend trying to hang on to your existing handset for around 5 years. says Ken.

Mary chimes in with another way you may be able to save and asks us to think about the TV we consume: You might be paying for Sky, Amazon and Netflix all at the same time, the worst thing is you might be paying and not even watching, saving 30 a month is 360 a year which could be used to invest elsewhere.

What were saying here is the more youre able to assess what youre spending your money on the more youre spending your money on the more intentional you become about spending your money and the more youll be able to save for your future.
