Like thousands of others there, Aric Harding's home is filled with water, but the piano is still standing.
Aric Harding posted the clip on social media site Instagram with a short message.
He said: "I think it's all finally sinking in a little. What we used to have going as a city is gone.
"I really think God is going to do something completely new here. I am excited to see the new beauty in the suffering."
In the video he jokes that the piano will need to be re-tuned.
The clip has been shown on BBC and CNN amongst other media outlets.
