The cost of living has been steadily rising but since April the UK has seen some major increases that have left many families struggling financially.

Boris Johnson addressed the cost of living and housing crises in a speech from Blackpool this week, pledging to help the nation with household finances and home ownership. Johnsons speech follows on from a no confidence vote earlier this week.
