Kirk Franklin meets street preacher who accused him of rubbing shoulders with world in viral video

In a four minute video of the incident posted on Instagram by the Grammy-award winning performer, the street preacher called Tye repeatedly questions Franklins faith and insists that he has a lot of blood on your hands, sir!

Speaking with a megaphone, Tye explained: You didnt stand up at the BET Awards and say hey guys, Jesus is coming back soon and the Bible says in the book of Revelation that the blood will be up to the horses bridle because of the blood of the sinners and no ones warning people.

You got a lot of people at the BET Awards, youve got a lot of blood on your hands, sir! Youve got a lot of blood on your hands. Thats what Im here to tell you, he continued.

Franklin performed his song called Love Theory alongside singers Erica Campbell, Kelly Price and Jonathan McReynolds at the awards show that celebrates African Americans and other American minorities in music, acting and sports.

He also took the time to share about his love of Jesus and proclaimed during his less than four minute performance, brothers and sisters, if you believe that Jesus is the light of the world, get up on your feet right now.

Tye also claimed that Franklin needed to repent because his nice little Michael Jackson moves would send people to hell, sir.

While the street pastor refused to shake Franklins hand, he did accept an invitation to meet after his show to discuss the word of God.

Tye later posted a video on YouTube that revealed that Franklin kept to his promise and met with him.

He also responded to the comments made under the video of the pairs exchange of words that has been viewed more than 300,000 times. Tye and Franklin can be seen at a table, however only Tyes comments are shared.

Franklins pastor Tony Evans is also included in the conversation via phone.

Despite Franklin and Adams explaining how secular shows can still offer an opportunity to share Christs message, Tye said he stood by his comments, even if some people believed they were too harsh.

People say, God loves me, were all sinners and thats the worst doctrine in America right now, Tye said at the table with Franklin.

The problem that we have right now is that weve got a whole bunch of people thinking that they love God, thinking they know God and Paul said, the anti-Christ doesnt set up his kingdom until theres a great falling away of the Church. And I think this thing is blinding the way of a lot of believers.

The video of the public rebuke has received both praise and condemnation online.

Hart Ramsey, senior pastor and founder of Northview Christian Church in Alabama said that he wouldnt have remained as calm as Franklyn after the rebuke.

He commented: Dude, you're good. I think I woulda cussed him. HIS HYPOCRISY STINKETH!!!! He's stuck in Moses and the Prophets & has NEVER heard of or met JESUS! The LORD sent us to preach reconciliation. He should be preaching mercy but he's consumed with judgment. #Pharisee."

You can hear Franklins pastor Tony Evans every weekday evening at 6pm on Premier Gospel.
