Akosua DF:  After wrapping up Season 1 of NLP you gave birth to your first child, congratulations. How have you found adjusting to motherhood?

Khafi: Motherhood has been amazing so far. They say that when a child is born a mother is born too, so I am a brand-new baby mother [laughs]. Theres a lot to learn but Im loving it. Motherhood definitely teaches you about the unconditional love of God Its really beautiful. This season has been a bit tiring due to the late nights but overall, I am adjusting well. Its a wonderful experience and Im honoured that God has entrusted me to steward this precious life. Im really loving it.

Akosua DF:  Im certain your followers and fans have asked about your birthing story. Will you be creating a birthing story video for YouTube?

Khafi: Yes, a lot of people have asked me how childbirth was. I made a very conscious decision to only listen to positive childbirth stories. Id heard people share many horror stories so I purposefully filled my mind and spirit with lots of positive birth stories and recommend that other women do the same. Im not quite yet ready to share my childbirth story, but will do so in due time.

Akosua DF:  Who are some of the gospel artists you enjoyed listening to whilst on maternity leave?

Khafi: Nathaniel Bassey was on constant repeat. I kept professing the lyrics of his song "Olorun Agbaye - You are Mighty" throughout my pregnancy. I listened to Hillsong and also a lot of medleys and Christian meditations. That was really important to me.

Akosua DF:  You are prepping for Season 2 of the Naked Love Podcast. What can listeners expect from this season & what antics will the folk of NL Street be getting up to?

Khafi: Yeeeeesssss. Season 2 is coming up soon and listeners can expect really great content. Well still be discussing topics that people dont normally talk about, but something new this season is that well have guest interviews. That will add a whole new dynamic to the show. Well still have NL Street I love it. It will be interesting to see how those 2 characters get on in their daily lives. Its going to be great so I hope that you will be tuning in.
