"I saved his life and and he cheated": forgiveness after betrayal

Tiktok star Colleen Le, based in California, recently went viral for this exact story. Colleen gave her ex-boyfriend, who was a Christian, her kidney to save his life and he ended up being unfaithful 9 months later, before leaving her and the relationship completely.

Watch here:

Colleen, who was raised Catholic, had to learn to forgive her ex-partner and says she believes God used this situation to teach her: I felt like God put me through this, you know, traumatising experience to help me grow stronger. And I feel very strong because of the experience I went through.

Many people in the comments of this story had expressed how they wouldve felt after something like this occurred, feelings of regret or anger but Colleen says she doesnt regret helping her ex-boyfriend: I still don't regret what I did. Because, you know, giving someone a check a second chance at life is like, I can't take that back as long as he's, you know, doing well still, then that's all that matters
