The nominees list was revealed today and leading the nominations with five nods is Dave the rapper.

Celebrated chart topping artist and MOBO 2020 Best Gospel Act, CalledOut Music, is nominated for the second year in a row.

The Hampshire native released two EPs and multiple singles during the MOBO eligibility period 1 September 2020 31 August 2021. Im so grateful to the MOBO awards for the recognition and what its done for me both musically and mentally... One of the most beautiful things about the awards show is that they give platforms to artists who may not have been noticed or seen, said CalledOut Music. 

Also nominated in the Best Gospel Act category is Guvna B, gospel heavy weight Kirk Franklin, the legendary Cece Winans, Maverick City Music and S.O.

Speaking about this years nominees, Kanya King CBE, Founder and CEO of MOBO  Group said: The past 20 months have been extremely challenging for artists everywhere but as always we are seeing creatives rise up and adapt, even in a global pandemic. This years crop of MOBO nominees have not only shown resilience but incredible talent and range.

The 24^th MOBO awards ceremony will take place on 5 December at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
