Remember that busy weekend in June when Travis Greene had a concert in London and then the next day himself and many other Gospel artists took to the stage at Big Church Day Out? Singer, Areatha Anderson, spent the weekend alongside Travis and his team, ministering to thousands of people as part of his worship team at these events. She spoke to us about her experience.

Chantelle J: What was it like performing at Big Church Day Out?

Areatha: Seeing the audience thoroughly enjoying themselves at what is essentially the biggest Christian festival in the UK was definitely a highlight for me. Having the privilege of ministering to them was another one. It was my first time attending BCDO and needless to say, I had a blast!

Chantelle J: Did you find it encouraging to be surrounded by international artists and many from the UK Gospel scene?

Areatha: To be honest we didnt have a lot of time to mingle backstage as our schedule was so tight especially coming straight from Traviss live in London event the night before. However, its always a joy to see artists come together with the sole purpose of lifting up Gods name.

Chantelle J: How has worshipping alongside Travis Greene at his concert and at BCDO inspired you? What have you taken away from this weekend?

Areatha: One word that comes to mind is freedom! Travis intentionally creates an atmosphere of freedom amongst his team and It was inspiring to see how real and humble he is. As an artist myself, this is something that I do and I love to witness.
