'God called me out of the Pussycat Dolls' says ex girl-band member

The Pussycat Dolls were one of the worlds most famous girl-bands in the early 2000s, selling millions of records worldwide, winning countless awards and selling out tours across the globe. However all the glitz and glamour were not as it seems as one member, Kaya Jones, reveals in an interview with Cassandra Maria. The artist speaks on how she felt when she first joined the group: "I was so excited [to be in the group], I was elated,I was very young, and we were gonna be, you know, the next Spice Girls and I grew up loving the Spice Girls. I wanted to be a Spice Girl. So I felt an tremendous honour being a part of the Pussycat Dolls." After being in the group for some time Kaya shared how God started to pull her away: "as I started to be moulded into what that was ultimately becoming God put it on my heart that I couldn't stay in that institution, and that was really hard because it was my dream." Jones touched on fellow bandmate Nicole Scherzinger and talks for the first time about their love for Jesus: "Nicole and me were best friends, she and I were the closest so when I left, I know that that had to have been strange. We would go to church every Sunday, something that people don't know, we would pray together, we'd worship together. We loved the Lord together. So it was really hard when the industry powers that be started to break the bond that me and her had up. So I know that Nicole's a believer,I know that she knows who Jesus Christ is and I know that He loves her. So I have complete tremendous faith that she's gonna come out all the way." America in recent months has been shrouded by the pro-life/pro-choice debate with laws changing making it harder for women to have abortions in certain states. Kaya revealed that she believes it should be difficult for women to have abortions and spoke about her pro-life stance, sharing intimate details about her own abortions and how they were the biggest regrets of her life. In a vulnerable moment, she revealed the circumstances that surrounded all three of her abortions and how she wishes she had had her children: "abortion I think has been something that has been so blanketed, like it's just a form of contraception, that abortion is no big deal. I was one of those girls, you know, I believed it was no big deal before I joined the Pussycat Dolls. I was 16 years old, had my first abortion, didn't think it was a big deal. I remember waking up and feeling like something was taken from me, like someone had taken my kidney." Musically, Jones is set to release her first Christian album that she says she's been writing for a year. As her supporters adapt to her new found commitment to Christ, she's on fire and set to change the industry with new music and a new lease of life in Christ.
