From Womanising to Worship, Zambia's Hottest New Artist Shares His Journey

Based in Zambia, in southern Africa, Massin says he comes from a Christian household but faced some struggles: "I come from a Christian home but theres always one thing about character, its tested in so many ways. I came from a humble background but when I got out there the lifestyle wasnt according to how one shouldve when they give their hearts to god. I grew up with people who knew god but never respected the fact that there is a certain way that a person should live [if theyre Christians]

When I gave my life to christ I started to see a different picture, I never knew id have interviews like this talking about God."

Talking on why he started making music he shared a bit about his upbringing and parents separation: "I grew up in a broken situation where I thought love doesnt exist, my mom and had divorced when I was about to go to college and that really broken my heart. It almost took away my faith in Christ I realised that God has given us so many talents ands gifting so I gave my home studio for bookings and made sure I could take care of my mom and sister."

Massin touched on how important Christ is to him and why he'll always make music for God, even if he was offered to go 'mainstream', sharing his thoughts on having a heart for God: "The main man is Christ, for everyone who feels like giving up or is tired let Christ do it. You need to be sensitive when it comes to your heart, its the main connection to the mind which is why we must give our heart to him. The Bible says those who are pure in heart will see Christ, not pure in mind, so we need to give our hearts fully."
