With over 7 million combined Spotify streams and almost 5 million combined YouTube video views, Winans has seen the single also dominate Billboards Gospel Digital song sales chart over the last 12 weeks.

Speaking about the success of the song Winans said Im thrilled with the success of Believe for It because I think the message of the song is more important today than ever before.

Capitalizing on the success of the song, Winans has teamed up with former American Idol contestant and CCM star Lauren Daigle to release a new version of the song. A little-known fact about Daigle is that before her major break as a CCM artist she tried out for American Idol three times but didn't make any of the Hollywood rounds, which explains why she never graced our tv screens.

Though Daigles soulful vocals complement Winans alto voice, one cant truthfully say that she brings much to the song vocally. Vocal powerhouse Natalie Grant would have been a stronger CCM vocal choice for the collaboration.

With faith stirring lyrics like: We know that hope is never lost, for there is still an empty grave. God, we believe no matter what; there is power in your name, Believe for It plants seeds of hope in the hearts of listeners.

Taking to Instagram to share her excitement at working with the gospel legend, Daigle posted: Working with the incomparable @cecewinans was an absolute joy! CeCe you exude grace and excellence, and Im so grateful to have gotten this opportunity to sing with you.

Cece Winans single Believe for it has topped Billboards Hot Gospel songs chart for 12 consecutive weeks since its release, only recently knocked from the No 1 position by Kanyes song Hurricane.
