Angie Rose: How God used the pandemic to renew purpose and vision

Angie recently scored a collaboration with Wande and Limoblaze for her track Unstoppable (Do It Again) - Global Remix. She also featured on Danny Gokeys new single Do For Love and jumped on a verse for  Evvie McKinneys E6 - Fleaux Remix.

Speaking to Premier Gospel, Angie spoke about her new music and opened up about the realities of being a Christian in the music industry. She also explained how the pandemic changed her life.

So, it was like the plane was about to take off, we were in People magazine, about to perform for Billboard, that got shut down. Im about to open for Sean Paul and all these things and then God was like, yeah, land the plane, Angie told Hannah Lovejoy for the Latin Selection Show.

I can only assume that its because the plane was going to crash because during the pandemic it did.

Angie mentioned that during the pandemic God removed people and situations from her life that werent meant to be there. She said that she wrote through a lot of her feelings in her latest EP Unstoppable and God used the experiences to help her get clear on her purpose.

She continued: I have such [an] intentionality, I know what I want to say, I know who I wanna be. The music, we can go mainstream, you wanna take me there? But believe me, Im not letting go of who I came with.

Theres no question, theres no idea, theres no ambiguity. I wanna be who God called me to be and I wanna reach the world but I dont wanna do it at the detriment to my soul, because then for what? Everybody knows my name but they dont meet him? Boring.

Angie also spoke about meeting with Spanish Gospel legend Lilly Goodman and mentioned that she has a collaboration cooking with Lizzy Parra.

She also shared the story behind building her non-profit the Unstoppable Foundation and how shes using social media to connect with her followers whom she calls La Familia. Every Tuesday and Thursday Angie hosts prayer lives on Instagram titled Coffee with Angie Rose.
