The biggest gathering of UK Christian young people is set to see 10,000 gather at London's OVO arena. The Catholic CYMFed Flame event was held annually prior to the pandemic and is back with a bang on March 4th with Premier Gospel taking pride of place on stage. The event will be opened with a powerful performance from Premier Gospels Ibe Giant Killer on Mcing duties and Candice McKenzie on the turntable, amazing gospel sounds will fill the arena and set the tone for the rest of the day. The event is a true expression of the power of community and the importance of coming together to celebrate and support one another. The main attraction of the event this year include Cardinal Tagle. This world renowned speaker and leader, all the way from Manila, is back at flame for a second time in 2023! Joining him will be MOBO award winners Guvna B and Faithchild along with London based singer song writer Adenike who was semi-finalist on the Voice UK under the supervision global pop Icon WILL.I.AM . In addition to the keynote speeches, the event also feature a range of workshops and activities designed to help young people explore their faith and to develop their spiritual lives. These workshops are led by a range of Catholic leaders and experts, who share their knowledge and experience with the young people in attendance. The theme of Flame 2023 which is exactly 150 days before World Youth Day in Lisbon takes the WYD Scripture Mary arose and went with haste and crystallises it into the theme, Rise Up! "Rise up after the pandemic, Rise up as young Catholics, Rise up as Mary did for the surprising and beautiful adventure that is the Catholic faith.
