Warehouse Worship, Areatha Anderson, and Charles Dada set to join Kirk Franklin and Maverick City on UK leg of the Kingdom World Tour

News of Kirk Franklin and Maverick City's Kingdom world tour sent the internet into a frenzy earlier this week. The tour, which is set to hit Africa and Europe, is shaping up to be the most anticipated tour event of 2024.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2018, Maverick City has successfully blurred the lines between gospel and contemporary Christian music (CCM), captivated the hearts of millennials across the globe and solidified their status as one of Christian and gospel music's top artists. With eleven Grammy nominations and five wins under their belt, the chart-topping collective continue to make waves. They're reuniting with their "Kingdom Book One" collaborator, Kirk Franklin, to take the Kingdom tour global.

A gospel legend with an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Franklin boasts twenty Grammy Awards and countless Dove and Stellar awards. Premier Gospel's recent catchup with the Kingdom tour visionaries, Faith Collective, revealed exciting exclusive news: UK's finest – Warehouse Worship, Charles Dada, and Areatha Anderson – will join the tour's UK leg.

Warehouse Worship, renowned for filling arenas, is a breakout UK sensation. Their mission is singular: creating a worship atmosphere where people can have unrestricted, personal encounters with Jesus.

Premier Gospel Award winner Charles Dada is no stranger to grand stages, having performed for 40,000 at Excel and on the BBC. Defying genre limitations, Dada's hits ("Holy," "New Man," “Hallelujah” etc.) showcase his unique blend of gospel, pop, and CCM.

Often compared to Jekalyn Carr by gospel pundits, Areatha Anderson is one of UK Gospel's top female artists. With a powerful soul-stirring voice that captivates listeners and strong stage presence that commands the attention of her audience, Anderson has been blessed to share the stage with the likes of Travis Greene, Dunsin Oyekan, Sinach, Joe Mettle, and Israel Houghton.

The August 26 London Ovo Arena stop is a pivotal moment for UK gospel music said Muyiwa, Premier Gospel's station director. “…I’m thrilled about the strong UK representation at this event. Charles Dada, Warehouse Worship and Areatha Anderson are among our best," he said. "The world will get to witness them shine. This tour exemplifies our belief here at Premier Gospel that gospel music is deeply embedded in culture – it's more than music, it's a message."

Faith Collective echoed Muyiwa’s excitement, highlighting the historic nature of the tour. “…Maverick City Music is making their debut outside of the USA... this is HUGE. Fans have been asking for international dates for years, and it's finally happening. Kirk has shaped modern gospel music like no other in the last 30 years, so you are guaranteed to hear all his hits on the night…”
